Erica Mortensen joined Waggener Edstrom Worldwide in November of 2002 and currently works on the T-Mobile business supporting media relations, reviews and partner relations.
Prior to her role on the T-Mobile team, Erica worked with the Microsoft Unified Communications Group, managing media relations for Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Online services. Within that role, Erica helped drive communications strategies, launch events and product announcements as well as public relations activities for acquisitions and competitive campaigns. Erica led news announcements at industry events, such as 3GSM, CeBIT, VoiceCon and the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference. She also played a key role in driving product and partnership announcements with ASUSTek Computer Inc., Nortel, Polycom Inc., Samsung and Verizon Communications, among others.
Erica graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in communications and minors in art history, business and English. Outside of work, Erica enjoys trekking around the Pacific Northwest in search of clams, crabs and oysters, which she enjoys sharing with her family and friends.
