
Julie Hunter joined Waggener Edstrom Worldwide’s Consumer Marketing Practice in December 2005 and currently works on the T-Mobile business.
On the T-Mobile team, Julie has supported and managed several handset launches including the launch of the Sidekick 3 Limited Editions, the T-Mobile Sidekick LX, T-Mobile Sidekick Slide BlackBerry Pearl and the company’s first music phone. She has also worked on various consumer initiatives including T-Mobile’s re-branding campaign and the launch of myFaves. Julie manages partner relationships with various companies such as Samsung, Nokia, Motorola and Lifted Research Group.
Before joining Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, Julie worked at Edelman Public Relations for several years on the Microsoft Hardware account. There she led various facets of numerous hardware product launches including the company’s first fingerprint reader devices, laser mice, media center peripherals and magnifier technology. Before Edelman, Julie interned at SEAFAIR, a Seattle summer festival, in the public relations department. There she was responsible for issuing media credentials, coordinating media activities at the events, developing media scripts and staffing the summer events.
Julie graduated from Washington State University and received a bachelor of arts in communications, with a public relations emphasis. When Julie’s not hard at work she’s spending time with her husband and two dogs, a pug and Brittany spaniel.
