Kristen Resare joined Waggener Edstrom Worldwide in 2004 and works on the T-Mobile business, where she handles news, analyst relations and trade shows.
During her three years at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, Kristen has worked on consumer and lifestyle initiatives, including reviews programs for T-Mobile’s flag-ship product, the Sidekick, feature handsets and converged devices. She handles news of corporate announcements for T-Mobile’s national Customer Care centers and also provides pro-bono PR counsel and media relations to Washington Women in Need, a local nonprofit organization offering health care, financial assistance and education to Washington women.
Before joining the agency, Kristen interned at UCLA Health Sciences in Los Angeles supporting the media relations department, for the local magazine South Sound Living, and for YMCA Tacoma handling external newsletters and programs. In college she was also the communications director of the Residence Hall Association, communicating program information to more than 1,500 on-campus resident students, faculty and staff.
She graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a bachelor’s degree in communication, concentrating in public relations, global studies and psychology.
